World Studies: Africa

Introduce the geography, history, and culture of Egypt, Algeria, Nigeria, Ghana, Mali, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Kenya, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and South Africa. Plus, students will read about the physical geography, Africa’s history, and the cultures of the various regions of Africa.

• Tapestry of Grace families: This was used in copyright dates prior to 2018, so be sure to check your year-plan to make sure you’ll need this. Use for three weeks in Year 3 Unit 4, and one week in Year 4 Unit 3.
